Desinfection of cooling water system of nuclear plant is the research focus for nuclear power systems.With the circulating cooling water module from Dampierre nuclear plant in France,we study the kinetic of consumption of monochloramine as a desinfect and determine that the consumption of monochloramine with raw water is the first-order kinetic reaction,and the rate constant is 0.002 min-1.The analysis of consumption of monochloramine with Fe3+ added in shows that,the Fe3+ has no significant effect on the consumption of monochloramine.The results can provide technical support and guidance for the design and management of nuclear power plants in China.
